About Dr. Sangeeta Patodia
Dr. Patodia, Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Anaesthesiology and Specialist in Dental Anaesthesia received her dental degree from the University of Toronto. After graduation she completed an AEGD at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Patodia practiced general dentistry integrating minimal and moderate sedation in her practice before returning to the University of Toronto to specialize in dental anaesthesia. During her three-year specialty program, she trained alongside medical anaesthesia residents in several Toronto teaching hospitals. Dr. Patodia currently provides all levels of sedation and anaesthesia to pediatric, adult and medically compromised dental patients throughout the Toronto area. She is an Associate in Dentistry at the University of Toronto where she guides undergraduate students in their didactic and clinical management of medical emergencies, general and advanced local anaesthetic techniques, and nitrous oxide sedation. Dr. Patodia has lectured extensively on topics including effective medical management of the dental patient, pain control, emergency medicine in dentistry, advanced local anaesthesia and all modalities and levels of sedation.
